The purpose of this workshop is to support researchers, especially non-western researchers, to improve the quality of their papers, and publish in international journals.<br \/>\nThere were 35 participants from Asia and Africa counties joined this workshop, and 11 researchers applied for the presentation session.<br \/>\nFirst of all, Prof. Tatsuya Kusakabe, a Co-Editor-in-chief of JICE, explained that it was important for researchers to advise each other through this workshop to improve their papers. Also, Dr. Akiko Harada, member of JICE Editorial Team, gave the lecture, struggles and experience of writing journal articles in English of non-native English speakers.<br \/>\nAfter that, each presenter made presentations of their own research paper. Questions and answers session gave them a good opportunity to find out about their problems and improvements of their research.<br \/>\nCICE plan to another JICE Writers\u2019 Workshop as well.
