\nAs part of UNESCO-IICBA\u2019s Japan-supported project, Youth Empowerment for Peace and Resilience Building and Prevention of Violent Extremism through Teacher Development for Sahel Countries, a total of 21 trainers and policy administrators will travel to Tokyo and Hiroshima, Japan to undergo training, visit relevant government departments, participate in discussions and attend lectures. At this reporting session, participants from the 11 participating countries will share what they have learned from Japan\u2019s approach to education and peace-building through teacher training and development.
