Center for the Study of International Cooperation in Education (CICE) is holding “Craft of Academic Writing (JICE seminar, CICE Seminar Series No.212)” as below. We look forward to your participation. 

 

CICE publishes the Journal of International Cooperation in Education (JICE)* and provides writing support to prospective writers. This seminar aims to equip the participants with skills for academic writing in English, specifically for publishing journal articles. It will first present some of the characteristics of good writing in English and analyses the structural elements of manuscripts. The latter part of the seminar introduces two case studies which have successfully developed manuscripts out of international joint research. The seminar primarily draws on examples from the research in Comparative and International Education but welcomes participants from other social sciences disciplines and beyond.
