Introduction to Quantitative Ethnography Workshop

This is a hands-on workshop to introduce Epistemic Network Analysis (ENA), a technique supporting Quantitative Ethnography.

Quantitative Ethnography (QE) is an emerging methodological approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze human behavior and interaction, being utilized by a growing community of scholars around the globe.

QE is currently a course taught at several universities in the United States. This four hour long hands-on workshop is a fast-paced overview version to review basics in support of submissions to the Journal of International Cooperation in Education, Special Issue: Quantitative ethnography in education research and evaluation in low- and middle-income nations
