JICE Workshop – Research Presentations by Visiting A-A Dialogue Members

JICE Workshop

Date & Time: Tuesday, October 1, 2025, 17:00–19:00 (JST)

Venue: CICE Seminar Room

Presenters: 6 researchers

On October 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., research presentations were delivered by five A-A Dialogue members who were visiting Japan on this occasion. The session took place in the CICE seminar room (6th floor, IDEC Building) at Hiroshima University. The presenters were researchers from Madagascar, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Zambia, and India, and their topics covered a wide range of themes, including education and gender, education policy, learning environments and the home, teacher training and professionalism, as well as examination systems and well-being.

All presentations were highly insightful, drawing on concrete examples from each researcher’s country. Following each presentation, Professor Tatsuya Kusakabe and researchers affiliated with CICE actively engaged the presenters with questions. For the presenters, the session provided a valuable opportunity not only to refine their research but also to gain important insights for shaping their future research directions.

After all presentations had concluded, Professor Kusakabe offered an overall commentary on the session and provided guidance regarding the submission of papers to JICE.
