Background:
The MOU was signed on 11 March 2016 between the Minister of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) and President of the Hiroshima University to ink the stronger cooperation to promote research and collaboration for professional development, capacity development training for Cambodian education personnel and staff/student exchange programs. This is the first institutional cooperation in hosting a joint seminar to mutually benefit from the partnership and scholarly discussions and exchange.
The purpose of this 2days joint seminar is to share research findings and expertise between Cambodia and Japan for mutual professional development and knowledge management on various research topics on education including teacher policy reforms, school curriculum frameworks including teaching methods, higher education, learning improvement, and teacher’s motivation.
Education Research Council (ERC) is a think-tank which was established in July 2017 to support policy reviews and build evidence through research to advise on policy reforms and implementation strategies with approximately over 25 members and chaired by MOEYS of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
